About Us

Welcome to our online home! As a small, hobby breeder located in Ontario, Bedford Kennel raises our dogs in our smoke-free home, not in a kennel. Our puppies are home-raised and well socialized with kids, cats, and other dogs. While our adult dogs are extensively health tested to meet the highest standards for a Boston Terrier breeder in Ontario, we guarantee our puppies against congenital and genetic defects, providing a written health guarantee along with proof of parent's health testing. Our goal is to breed to preserve and improve our breeds, focusing on quality over quantity. Since 2004, we have specialized in breeding Boston Terriers, and we also offer Pug puppies as special editions to our program. 


We understand that finding a reputable breeder can be overwhelming, along with the extensive research required to select the right breed! Therefore, we've designed this site to be as informative as possible. However, our site is not a platform to sell puppies; rather, it showcases our dogs, their accomplishments, and our breeding program, allowing us to introduce ourselves. Remember, you’re not just adopting or buying a puppy; you’re also embracing the ethics and integrity of a breeder! 


Adopting a puppy or dog is a lifetime commitment and should always be approached thoughtfully. Enjoy your visit, and we hope to see you return soon. We welcome general breed questions, whether you decide to adopt from us or not, and we look forward to connecting with you!

Champion Bloodlines

At Bedford Kennel, we specialize in raising CKC registered Boston Terriers with world champion and health tested bloodlines, bred to breed standard for the betterment and preservation of the breed. Our Pugs are health tested imports, representing our commitment to quality. We look forward to showing and breeding them in the near future. While our primary focus is on producing puppies and dogs that excel in health, temperament, and companionship, we also strive to develop quality show dogs.
